Garden Plans for the Springtime in South Wales

Updated: Jan 16, 2023

It's great that we are now beginning to see the signs of spring, an exciting time for us. You may be starting to think about making plans for your garden this year. Or perhaps, you've had plans in the pipeline for some time, but this year is the year to get the work completed for you to finally enjoy.

Garden boundaries are an important place to begin. Check if they are in need of repair or replacement. We specialise in timber fencing construction and can accommodate for many different styles. You can view some of our work within the fencing and gates gallery page.

From the beginning of this year, our main focus has been upon fencing and once again feather edge has been prominent. You will see in the photo below, showing a recently completed job, there is quite a drop down to the base of the house from the road side. It is important that the area is safe and secure. Our customer also wanted privacy from people passing by and so 6ft feather edge was the preferred option.

Here you can see the final product, which is sturdy and secure as well being of a smart appearance.

We have also recently undertaken landscaping of a sloped area of a garden. This project, improved the access. Previously, it was covered in builders hardcore, rubble and soil. The area was also prone to weeds during the summer months. Take a look at the before and after photos below.

The steps were built using oak and are held solid in place using 4x4 posts which are concreted into the ground, the oak being fixed to. I'm sure you'll agree this area looks far more appealing now! A good improvement.

If you would like to discuss any plans you may have, or perhaps you would like some help with ideas, give us a call and Richard will gladly call out to chat with you and provide a quotation. We can undertake a variety of work relating to the garden and outdoors. Take a good look around the site and see for yourself!

Take care
