We recently completed the build of these eye catching waney edge gates, in Newport, South Wales. Our client really wanted something distinctive, yet fitting with the overall character of the house. We jumped at the chance, it was satisfying to have the opportunity to construct something very different to the norm.
We used fully treated timber for the 4x4 posts, 3x2 rails and 4x1 top frame. Osmo 420 Extra oil was recommended for the treatment of the waney edge.
You can see here, the style of gate, fits in nicely with the character of the house.
