Jet Washing in South East Wales
Updated: Jan 16
The sun has finally arrived and the birds are singing. We are due some dry weather over the next week or so. You may be thinking about sprucing up the garden. Time to get the jet washer out to clean down any paths, patios or decking which may need a bit of TLC.
If you are carrying out this work yourself, you might like to give the area a scrub down with a brush and a cleaning product first. Once the jet washer gets on it though, it will be looking good in no time.
Be careful if you are pressure washing your decking, make sure that the pressure isn't too high as you don't want to damage the timber. Doing this job does create a bit of a mess, but as the saying goes "you can't make an omelette without cracking any eggs"!
Once the area is clean, dry and free of debris, it will be time to treat the area using a good quality oil based preserve for the decking. Patios and pathways, maybe in need of re-grouting and you may like to apply a sealant too.
