Hello! I hope you have been having a chance to enjoy the warmer weather now that it has finally reached us in Wales!
I just thought I would send you a little update and show you our latest decking project carried out in Cwmbran recently, which is just superb!
Here we have a good size deck built using 6x2 framework, Balau hardwood decking boards and we have used metal spindles on the balustrade.
As the balau is a slightly thinner board than regular softwood decking boards, the joists on this framework are closer together than usual, to give even more support.
We chose to fit the boards smooth side up this time. They were very lightly sanded and oiled with OSMO 420 Extra which gives this lovely rich finish.
