Ark Fencing and Garden Services Ltd are a friendly, family run, professional fencing & landscape gardening team based in Cwmbran, South East Wales, with over 18 years experience in the business. How it all began...
I have always had an interest in timber construction growing up. My father was a carpenter and ran his own business for many years. There were occasions when he asked me to assist him on various jobs, which taught me a lot.
During my twenties I was offered the opportunity to work and train with a skilled landscape gardener. I did so, for three years and learned so much during this time, he was a great teacher and mentor. My confidence and ability grew and eventually I set off on my own. .
I have always loved the outdoors (being an avid golfer) so this job really suits me to a tee! I'm outdoors rain or shine either gardening or using my construction skills and making use of my creative side. Working with timber is my specialty, whether it's building fencing, decking, pergolas, planters or retaining borders… and the great people I meet is a bonus too of course.
I've been in business, working for myself for sixteen years now and I know how important reputation can be. Producing a great product and providing a good service is really important to me, leaving my customers satisfied and happy with the outcome.
Since we are a family business the other team member alongside me is my wife. Between us, we've continued to make this business a success and will continue to do so for many years to come.
